Net naast het Hilton ligt dit hotel, is het wel een hotel? We rijden er langs en verbazen er ons wel over. Waar is de ingang? Aan de achterkant? De zeer donkere kolos lijkt ons niet het gewenste visitekaartje. Het verbaast ons dan ook niet dat er op het moment van schrijven geen foto's beschikbaar waren op de officiele website van de buitenkant van het hotel. Links van de ingang ligt het restaurant 'de Kersentuin' waar de bekende Nederlandse chefkok Joop Braakhekke ooit begon aan zijn vooruitstrevende carriere.

Ietwat teleurgesteld door de uitstraling van buiten nemen wij dit gevoel mee naar binnen, kan de inrichting hier verandering in brengen? Nee. De bar loopt ongeveer direct door in de lobby, oh nee, de bar is de lobby. Heel erg donker allemaal. De ontvangst is ook niet om over naar huis te schrijven. Na deze ervaring willen we al bijna onze koffers pakken en naar huis gaan, dit gaat niet meer lukken.
