Impression
A beautiful hotel in coastal town Noordwijk. The hotel is only a few years old but it has already gone bankrupt once. Fortunately, new owners have come along who were willing to invest a lot of money in the hotel, resulting in a splendid hotel with a warm and attractive interior and a service that leaves nothing to be desired.
reception
We received a very warm welcome, starting with the porter. The personnel clearly still has to settle in a little, but that is not unusual in a new hotel. We were well cared for and soon realized that this hotel will offer fierce competition to Huis ter Duin and the Hotels van Oranje.
public areas
The lounge is beautifully furnished with large sofas and chairs that immediately invite you to cuddle up inside of them. There is also a bar in the lounge, which makes it all the more agreeable to just sit and relax here.
rooms
The rooms look excellent. They conform to all modern standards and meet all the requirements for a true luxury hotel. At the back and the side of the hotel the rooms have a view of Noordwijk, and if you are lucky enough to get a room at the front you will be able to catch a glimpse of the sea. Unfortunately it will not be more than a glimpse as the hotel is actually quite far from the seaside.

The hotel has one large room, which is normally divided into two smaller rooms by two sliding walls in the middle, leaving a beautiful corridor in between. These rooms are ideal for large parties, as well as conferences, as they can cater for about five hundred people in a sit-down dinner arrangement.
situation
The location is quite nice with the hotel situated on a kind of raised platform or small hill, which gives you a nice view over the rooftops of all the other buildings. The only downside is that the hotel does not have its own beach - something that neighbor and competitor Huis ter Duin does have. However, the bus stops right in front of the hotel and you can always order a taxi. All in all, this hotel is a very nice option if you are only staying a few days during a congress or if you want to spend some time in a coastal town like Noordwijk.
